I hope this isn't too soon but my friends and I are going to the Iowa game this year and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about where to tailgate since they don't have the designated areas like we have in Ames. Also, I was wondering if there was an unofficial Cyclone tailgate area.
Hopefully we break the losing streak at Iowa City.

I have a house on Melrose Pl. If you're dressed in cyclone gear, you're more than welcome to tailgate here. Three will be a ton of cyclones here.Quote:

The city not only denied their permit for a "temporary business venue", but they'll probably get cited for construction of a commercial parking lot in an area zoned residential! Any exit off of 80 is a mess - go south on 380 a couple exits then come back in ... I think there's Lowes or something, worked slick for us the couple times we went.
