Sounds like they wanted to add some new luxury boxes and improve the amenities. I don't think their average attendance has been that high so this might help keep the current fans happy and bring in some new ones. Then they can expand to 50K+.Quote:

The TCU renovation adds suites, club seating, and lounges. This can generate a lot of revenue, and could probably make up for the 4000 lost seats easily.

Boise State expects to announce plans later this month for a Bronco Stadium expansion.
Boise State has invited boosters to “An Evening on the Blue — Celebrating the Bronco Stadium Expansion Campaign” on Aug. 27 at Bronco Stadium.
“It is paramount that we build for the future,” the invitation says.
