6-6 is much better than a lot of quarterbacks in the league
5-9 isn't horrible either considering how bad some of those seahawk teams were.
With a horrible qb like tavaris jackson sticking around, i have no problem saying both should have an opportunity to start. Both have been given an opportunity to start. And neither has been up to the challenge, thusfar. They both have a lower win percentage than the horrible qb you mentioned. And I'm not defending T-Jack, either. He's not a great QB. But what can you point to with Sage/Seneca that indicates that they are a clear better choice than the guys they are currently backing up? Take off the Cyclone glasses for a moment.

Just wait until the old man Favre goes down with an injury and the Vikes have put their season's hopes on Jackson. They'll regret the day they let Sage move on to another team.

I don't need cyclone glasses to spot a bad quarterback and tavaris jackson is flat out bad. Any coach starting him in front of Sage is clueless. It reminds me of a college coach who inflates a recruits ability and refuses to start the walk on kid who is clearly better.
Yeah, it must be my cyclone glasses that makes me think Houston and Seattle weren't very talented when they got their starts. Seneca may have had the better of it, but Sage had nothing but a receiver to work with.
And when they are actually given the opportunity to be "the guy" then I will believe they can't do it (especially sage). That hasn't happened yet.

Where is the proof that Sage is so much better than T-Jack? Where are the stats that show that? If Sage was so good, then how come he's never progressed beyond backup at any place he's been? Were Miami and Houston also wrongly inflating other quarterbacks on the roster like you claim Childress is?
Look, I want Sage to get a shot as much as anyone, but the reality of the situation is that it's not likely to happen. It's easy for Iowa State fans to claim that our guys are getting a raw deal, but that doesn't mean it's actually happening.

And everything I have seen makes me believe you are wrong and not the other way around. There are tons of guys in the pros who play because of their contract.
Ryan Leaf anyone? If Sage had played for a name program, he would have had a shot at being the guy by now because he would have had a better contract.
End of story.

Lol! So, i guess that makes Alabama State a "name program."
or Tulsa, or Fresno State, or Dartmouth
Those are the alma maters of some of the guys who Sage has backed up.
Epilogue.

Epilogue. ryan leaf????? oh, I see you skipped that part. LOL too funny. Please, marivich (lefty from usc) oh, wait there is another, LOL, I could go on all day.
Florida's quarterbacks, LOL, all of them, LOL
This is too easy. Those guys were horrible. There are literally hundreds of guys from big name programs who sucked but played right away in the pros and not just at the quarterback position.
Another the chiefs qb from bama, LOL horrible. I could do this all night.

Not sure who Marivich from USC is. Maybe you mean Todd Marinovich. Not clear on how he and Sage are intertwined, either.
Nobody is arguing that players from big schools get more chances. But how did that fact affect Sage's career? He has played behind guys from smaller colleges for his entire career, and he couldn't beat them out.

and by the way, Todd Marinovich has less career starts than Sage does. So, he doesn't exactly support your argument either.

Re: Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfel getting some props
I would like to see Sage before T. Jack play, but we all know that is'nt going to happen. I did think Sage played pretty well against the Rams, but it was a preseason game.
Still I would like to see Sage start.

Re: Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfel getting some props
sage will probably be traded now, i would think.
-
Re: Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfel getting some props
I dont think he will be traded actually, they kept him around all last time they let favre (oh and how is this pronounced farve?) play.

I could see it going either way. Depends on if Joe Webb gets put on the practice squad or not. Teams don't generally carry 4 QB's on the active roster.

Re: Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfel getting some props
If I was Sage I would want to go somewhere where I could either start or be immediate backup. Not 3rd string.
