RB to declare today - right...

It was reported a week or so ago that RB Robert Standard from Chaminade Prep in St Louis was to announce today between ISU and Nebraska.

Anyhow, saw this on the Nebby website - it actually sounds like they think the Nebraska coaching staff has cooled on mr. standard and that bodes well for us. Also some very glaring comments at the end that give ISU some props because they think this kids a baller.....

That could mean good things for us I think if Neb is cooling on him maybe he will sing this way with some more time...

This could be bad, he will wait for someone else... Big grade issues I have heard....

If he has big grade issues he might end up as a sign and place anyways and who knows if he will get back to D1. We are still high on his list so all we can do is wait.

If he is waiting, then I would think he is trying to get more offers after better classroom performance. Maybe he took some summer school classes and improved and is being advised to wait.

The longer he waits, the less chance we have. I read an artilce that said he had a great time at a visit to Missouri. If that is the case, and he is waiting, if an offer comes my guess is he will take it. We need to get DeVondrick Nealy and be done with it.

He sounded like Mizzou was the ticket back in Feb.

I heard he has cooled off on Iowa State because we already have a long list of RB in our pipeline.
