Return Game?

Who do you think will be returning punts and kickoffs this year?

PR: I thought Lenz was a solid returner last year, but he could have been much more aggressive and really challenged for yards. It probably didn't help that he was injured for part of the year. In any case I don't think Lenz has shown enough to be "the guy" at this position.

KR: Sims had some nice returns last year and has the athleticism to be a game changer. Likewise, LJ has the ability despite underperforming in the kickoff game last year. If he can get back to what he did as a true freshman, LJ and Sims could be a really good combo. However, I'm not sure the coaches will want to risk their two best defenders in such an injury prone position this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see some other guys returning kickoffs this year.

But who? Jarvis West seems like a game breaker and could be really effective in either role, Same with Albert Gary and Jeremy Reeves. What about Shontrelle Johnson and Duran Hollis? Who's got the speed, moves, and vision to make our return game a nightmare for our opponents?

Kick return will probably be Lenoard Johnson and Sims...and then Lenz back on punt return.

Lenz was my favorite one we saw last year just because he wasn't afraid to hit the hole hard. He didn't stop when things plugged up in front of him, he just put his head down and got what he could. I'm not sure I want to see the kick returners fighting for an extra couple yards. Adrian Peterson does that a lot and ends up losing the ball because you open yourself up when you fight for more.
