Uh, what? The poster I responded to claimed that Iowa was the most overrated team in the country without actually providing a shred of evidence. My post was facetious in nature making it seem shocking that a BCS bowl winner being ranked in the top 10 is the definition of overrated. I can't see how that logic is inane.
Please re-read my post. I did not claim that Iowa should be top 10. I was simply responding to his post claiming that Iowa shouldn't even be in the top 20, and is the most overrated team in the nation. I came back with it seeming silly that he would claim a team returning 16 of 22 starters, that won a BCS bowl, should not be ranked in the top 20. I did not claim Iowa should be ranked as high as they finished the season, nor did I say Iowa should be top 10.

If you are saying you posted it facetiously, then sure, but you replied to a post saying Iowa was overrated basically using the fact that they were Orange Bowl champs last year as a reason why they weren't overrated. Since you left out a lot of important details, then yeah, the logic was inane.
Worded like you have it now, fair enough.
