Here's what Coach Rhoads had to say about ISU's punting situation earlier today.

“I don’t know if I can name one right now. It has been a very heated race all throughout camp. Dan Kuehl is much improved to create that. I don’t know if I will make that final call until Tuesday or Wednesday before we play Northern Illinois. Dan Kuehl has probably been more consistent to this point. We do some things different than Kirby did in high school, which has created different steps and things like that. Sometimes that transition takes a little time when you are a specialist like he is.”

I loved his punt last year against CU (I believe?) or maybe it was Army...but that was a great coaching move that I think kinda went to the wayside once the game is over. Anyone got video of that?

From the sounds off things, he might still have the edge but it is a much closer battle than most thought it would be. Props to Daniel for that.
