I don't see their lack of a menu as a negative at all.

Re: Good Sports Bars
Chicken Coop IS a Nebraska bar, I beleive they are based out of Freemont.
I am a big fan of Victors, Overtime, Saints Pub and Patio, and Jethro's for game watching... All have great food and good atmosheres.

Yeah I've heard Chicken Coop is a NU bar...no thanks
I've been to Overtime and thought it was a cool place. 3-Bag also isn't a bad place to catch a game from what I've heard. I'd recommend those two places if you live in Grimes and want to stay out west

Anytime we're drinking beer on his porch, the idea of peeing on/spray painting the hell out of the Front Row is discussed, but has yet to come to fruition.

Ha, well if you ever get the urge again to do it, let me know. I also live less than two blocks from that **** hole, which is why I ended up there in the first place.

Re: Good Sports Bars
I will give Front Row one bit of credit.
It's been several years since I've been there. But when last on the premises, by my count they had exactly two items that contained Cardinal and Gold. One was a classice "rivalry" print on the wall, dating way back to the 80's tornado helmets, and having both Iowa and Iowa State players. So that doesn't really count.
The other was in the men's room, and I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about. I have to admit, I found it rather clever and gave me a chuckle.
(but nahhh, they don't care about us outside one week a year :skeptical)
