I'll be at home in Illinois, watching the game on tv, with a beer in my hand, ****** at the world that I couldn't make the home opener for the 2nd straight year.
I will have a beer cracked open in the south grass lots by 1:30, will have the grill going by 3ish, will be playing catch and ladder golf by 4, cleaning up the tailgate by 6, in my seats in the south endzone by 6:30, walking out of the stadium celebrating a Cyclones victory by 10. CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT!!!
Other than the south grass lots this is my itinerary exactly.
arrive @ stadium around 3 to get Cy ready for a new season and then standing in the NorthEast Corner of the field by the endzone watching with my fieldpass
i have a class from 3:40-5 that night. But i have from 2:00-3:40 off. Should i get started drinking early? Or is this not academically acceptable?
thank you CFers
This is absolutely acceptable.. Its a gameday after all.. If your professor is smart he/she will let you out plenty early anyway. I had a few that realized none of the students head was in the class anyways so cancelled class.
I remember going to the classes that didn't cancel in the early afternoon with a liter of Pepsi (burned with Admiral). Sipping on that during class and watching the clock wishing I was tailgating. THIS is probably not acceptable/legal but thats what happens when your young and dumb.
