Princeton Jackson
Perhaps this has been mentioned before, but I see that '09 ISU signee Princeton Jackson is a linebacker at Blinn JC--rather than having gone to minor league baseball, as some had suggested. Princeton Jackson - Yahoo! Sports "Hey! I'm building something here!"

Re: Princeton Jackson
So he's a sophomore this year? Hope we still have a shot if he has his grades in order.

We could actually play a 4-3 defense without relying on Benton. We could have some depth at a position we have none. He could be better than somebody and take their spot.
I wouldn't worry about recruiting a guy and who he could replace. That's the players job to worry about

Either red shirt him and let him take an outside spot and have A.J. or Jake move inside when Matt leaves, or let him play a back up role for a year and let him have a shot to start for 1 year. I hope we get him back. I, as well as many others were very high on him when he signed with us the first time.

Re: Princeton Jackson
uhh, if you're asking, "Why do we need another linebacker?"
take a look at our depth and caliber at LB this year. Were not exactly the baltimore ravens

Re: Princeton Jackson
Jackson committed to Chiz originally right? Hopefully this staff has a good relationship with him still.

I was wondering how you sell a juco a spot, when we should have all three starters returning. On the other hand, I'm sure that there are always adjustments that can be made if he wants to come. Even looking at what comes back, I think he'd be a real asset to the team next year.
