When Do The Floodgates Open??

Anyone know what time the gates open tomorrow and how early do you need to be there to be in the lower deck of the student section???

You can walk in at kickoff and be in the lower deck of the student section.

I think its 90? minutes before kickoff, so 5:30.

Lower deck sucks, get in a hour early and try and get one of the first rows in the balcony, you can still get rowdy and you actually get a better perspective on the game. Just my opinion though, 5 years of sitting in the student section, granted I'm a bit vertically challenged.

Yeah, I would go for the first 3 rows in the upper deck of the student section. All the games I had been to as a student, I staked out a spot in the lower deck.

The first time I sat in the upper deck of the student section was in the first row for the Iowa @ ISU '07 game. That was a sweeeeeeet view of Shaggy finishing off the Hawkeyes.

I prefer the lower deck, about halfway up. I don't like the upper deck because even if you are in the front row, going nuts, it seems like there's not as many people doing the same a few rows behind you. You get more crowd noise farther down, and if you stay farther than 10 rows up from the bottom, you still get a good view.
