27-10. I'll take it Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Had to win this one and we did. Plenty that went good. Plenty to work on for the next set of practices.

They keep saying, "You take away those two interceptions, and he played a very good game." I just can't get behind that. AA had a lackluster game in my opinion, it was the D that really carried the team.

No wonder the announcers kept saying 'Iowa Cyclones'...

Anyone know what song the team came out of the tunnel to?

If that's lackluster, I'd love to know what your adjective for Stanzi is.

Re: ***Official NIU @ ISU Game Thread***
Definitely looked good in the first half on offense. Second half... meh.
I think it's great that our offense could click and look in sync for the first game of the season. Definitely looked better than most of last season during the first half. Just shot ourselves in the foot... very badly... a few times. They look like fixable mistakes, however, so I'm feeling optimistic about our offense.
The defense looked like they did last year. They'll give up some yards, but were able to keep points off the board. Defense can continue to get better, and if the offense can manage the game like they did today, it'll only help, since this type of defense keeps them on the field a lot.

Why the hell are there bumblebees in this thread?
Solid win, the offense has a lot to work on this week, but I'm excited about where the LBs are.
Also, Collin Franklin is the man.
