youngest son had a freshman football game, so I was late to the TV for the game ...
going dark and not wanting to know any result, I decided to type my thoughts while
watching ... here is my take as I watch the Cyclones opener

1st Quarter ...
tough call on the illegal formation ... they called it on the right tackle
SJ has gotta catch the ball, but how do you miss that facemask?!?
AA passing looks like 09, but his rushing thus far is very impressive
we can't miss 43 yd FGs after a 5 min drive to open the game :(

it took the whole game to type ... i watched the game alone and delayed, turned off cell phone and refused to go online until it was over ... so whenever there was something i wanted to post, tweet, text, yell or say - I typed it

i thought it might be an interesting read after the fact so i posted it

I am at work today, and considering I had to get up at 4:30 this morning, I had to limit myself to one longneck. I'm no collegian anymore - I can't down large quantities of beer until late at night and still get up early the next morning...
