Drew Tate is still questionable but will most likely play at least part of the game on Saturday, he's currently around 70% according to teammates. Drew started doing a few activities in practice on Tuesday and will push it a little more this afternoon.

Despite all the questions surrounding Iowa's lackluster performance against Syracuse, Iowa is currently favored by 13.5 against the Clones. I would assume this would come down a bit by Saturday but we all know how over-hyped Iowa usually is, especially this year.

Despite questions from the media and some fans, both Iowa and Iowa State announced their intentions to keep the in-state rivalry scheduled for the 2nd-3rd week of the season for at least the next few years.

Despite past rumors to the contrary, no Iowa State Football player is scheduled to have any type of suspension for any future game. There are no pending disciplinary actions for any of the players and hopefully it remains that way.

All Iowa State players are scheduled to be available for the game on Saturday with no injuries having popped up over the past couple of days.

Look for more minutes for Scales and Johnson this weekend as Iowa State tries to open things up a little on the ground.

I've heard from someone close to Iowa athletics that there is a rumor floating around that Tate was in a car accident and that the injuries were a result of the accident. I couldn't get anyone to confirm it.

No, he said that is was according to teammates. I was just wondering how direct this information was, and perhaps which teammate it was. I am surprised this type of information would be given to somebody that runs a webpage for the rival.

regardless of Tate's actual condition, anyone who convinces himself that Tate is less than 100% is just setting themself up for disappointment. I hope our boys are preparing for and expecting Tate at 100% and fired up as hell...

Wow. IMO that's pretty foolish. Just look at the history of this game. EIU hasn't exactly been world-killers so far.

I was thinking of putting the mortgage on ISU and taking the 13.5.
