Re: CF Analysis: ISU vs. Northern Iowa – All about coaching, no excuses.

Killebrew and the other end zoomed in and gobbled Meyer up. The left side of the o line must have been out shopping for more groceries the way Killebrew roared in.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

I don't think the majority were coverage sacks, I think 2, maybe 3 were coverage sacks. The other times the line did look like they got blown away. Which side is the Soph on? Schmeling.

We are in a make our break season for a portion of our fan-base that has put up with the same level of play for about five years now. Regardless of where Mac has brought us over the past 12 years, everybody wants to get a lot further and some fans are less patient than others. I'm not saying those people are right or wrong but the fact is that we need to keep every fan that we can get for our football program in order to get to that next level. A fair-weather fan is after all better than an Iowa fan (think $$$).
Very well put Jeremy! We can't settle for mediocrity! DMac has had 12 years to make an impact, which he has done. But Cyclone fans are starting to become numb to the close games & Losses. There's no doubt he has brought us a long way, but is he the guy to take us to the next level? I hope he is, but he needs to prove it to us. There's still a lot of football this season...let's sit back & have some fun!
