I think we have the potential to make it to the Big 12 Championship game for a rematch with Texas. If that happens, I hope we will learn from our mistakes from our last game with them and make corrections. If we stay toe to toe with them on national TV, then that will say a lot for our program and maybe there will be a few less people who think we are Idaho State University.

I realize those numbers are probably a little high but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that things will start clicking. We have the potential to put some very high scores up, we just have to be good at not letting the other guys do the same thing. And sorry if I sounded rude on that, it's been a long day at work already:)

geez, it was the second friggin' game of the season! at least the d held them to 10 points! it was a great showing by the defense, and yet all that's talked about is how terrible the offense looked (although they did look bad). while we still yet don't look sharp, if mac does pull out this no-huddle that's been talked about, i expect we'll actually put up some points and look more impressive the rest of the season

If we cut down our costly turnover as of late, and our defense finds their stride by cutting down the number of plays the opposing team runs, and gives our offense more time to work their magic on the field, then we could EASILY win 5 or 6 of the next 7 games, EASILY! I know our defense has been very good thus far, and I think they were outstanding in the second half last week other then the drive after the Flynn fumble, but they need to find some consistency and keep the opponets off the field. We have won only one time of possesion battle so far this year, and that was against IOWA.

Man this is pathetic. I have been unable to keep up with CF the last week and I think I am a better person for not being here. First I read Jeremy's thread barking about how it is time to change coach's, then I come to this thread where it appears that all is good so I am trying to figure that out, which thread is real, which is pure sarcasm. Then I read the posts and basically have one question for paysclone, Jokerswild, kcbob79clone, acrozier22, threemuch, darts180 and Cydkar......Who pissed in your cheerios????? I hope the negativity you spew on this message board is limited to this message board, otherwise, I am convinced you have a dark cloud hovering over you raining on your parade 24/7. We could win out the rest of the season and I would bet you would still be looking for the coaches heads. I wanted to reply to each one of your little whiny posts but to be honest, it ain't worth it.

I will let the season pan out and wish for the best for the team. It's the so-called fans like you that make Cyclone fans look like a bunch of Jr high schoolgirls. I just hope that our ISU players are not reading this crap because it would make it tough to keep their morale up when they are getting their faces pushed in the mud.
