Doh!! Geeesk. If every play is reviewed, why aren't ANY reviewed!

Today, still wanted by BCS teams, he survives as a coach of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find him- maybe you can hire: Gene Chizik.

I guess I just don't understand the point of booth review. On a play like the Flynn touchdown, how do you not review it?

Fire Barney Cotton or Mac if he doesn't take play calling duties from him.

More like the tidy bowl. This team isn't going to a bowl unless they figure something out, and quick.

Oh, here is the problem! You have this switch on the back of mac's neck set on "losers", let me just switch that over to "winners". There you go fellas. All better.

I don't understand how you can't score with this talent on offense? So frustrating. I understand the players aren't executing particularly well, but geesk.

WHY, WHY, WHY??? Why do I always get so excited and then put myself through the misery of seeing this happen. One thing about being a Cyclone fan is that it builds character, patience, and reinforces the phrase, "there is always next year!!" Plus it makes me want a beer and smoke!!

Re: ISU vs Nebraska - Official Game Thread

What is really strange, regardless of games outcome. How can we have two linebackers with excellent tackling stats, and not have defensive players of the game in the last two games. What exactly has the offense been doing?? C'mon Mac, quit protecting your offensive co-ordinator. Keeping the defense on the field a bit much.

Where the hell was Bret Meyer tonight? He was awful. In my mind this loss lands square on his head. He was in some other state tonight.

I was quite impressed with the D in the second half, up until that last drive at least.

I'm sorry, Dan did a great job getting the team to average, but the play calling and execution is absolutely disgusting. I can't watch games without getting incredibly upset. Dan or at leats Barney needs to go because they are wasting talent and not playing up to there potential...... Let dan finish the season. We will beat KSU and CU and then thank him for what he has done and let him go be a Def Cord for some school and bring a new face in........ Unitl then i can't agree with whats going on in our football program.....

I agree, Dan should not be fired now. However, nothing happened tonite to help him keep his job come the end of the season.

Half of life is ****ing up; the other half is dealing with it.

Re: ISU vs Nebraska - Official Game Thread

Tonight was not a play calling problem. It was poor execution. Plain and simple. The receivers were open, Meyer had time, he just couldnt hit the broad side of a barn tonight. The defense was horible in the 1st but they made great adjustments in the second.
Quit crying about McCarney!
