Meyer was running and rolling out all game..where was his pass protection? The O line needs to shoulder some of the blame, but MNClone is right, Meyer was off tonight...way off.

I think we run a lot of designed roll outs because we recognize that our offensive line couldn't stop a 90 year old lady from crossing the steet.

Re: ISU vs Nebraska - Official Game Thread

I would just like to say that this was the most embarassing loss I have witnessed as a cylone fan. I have been going to games since I was three months old. Never have I thought that ISU should have won a game more than I did tonight. This was the game that should have put ISU on the map. Instead the terrible play calling cost us an important win. I thought that there were a couple of calls that didn't go our way, but it should have not been anything that we could not over come. I am a long time ISU fan that is frustrated with being second fiddle to everyone else. This was ISU's game to win, and not only did we not come through in the clutch, but there were many questionalble calls made by the offensive cordinator that I for one would not have made. One call inparticular that stands out is the double reverse made early in the game. ISU ends up loosing yards, and punting. With the players we have on offense we should be scoring at will. I think a coaching change needs to be made and it needs to be done as soon as this season ends. On top of that, I think that we need to make incoming recruits aware of our future goals and expectations so they understand the direction that we expect ISU football to go. Sorry if I rambled, but unexplainable losses will do that to a person

If the fake field goal and the double reverse wern't poor play calling then i don't know what was.... This teams play calling constantly puts them in 3rd and fifteen holes..... Plain and simple Barney is bad at his job......

I think it's clear that at least an offensive coordinator change will be made at the end of the season, and it should be. ISU has absolutely no clue who they are right now or what they're good at. I don't use the refs as an excuse because ISU should NEVER be held to 7 points for almost an entire game with the weapons they have. ISU has every potential to put up 30 a game against anyone. Not to put up more than 7 is just a disgrace to the individuals that are trying. I say individuals because right now there is no 'team' that has shown up at any of our games. We have no chemistry and no path laid out in front of us. We look like a team with their helmets on backwards blocking the view.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
