COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Danielle Gant scored 22 points, including 16 in the first half, to pace the 21st-ranked Texas A&M Aggies to a 60-46 win over Iowa State at Reed Arena Wednesday night. After a rough start in the first half, the Cyclones cut the Aggie lead to nine in the second, but couldn’t ever get any closer.
With the loss, Iowa State fell to 16-9 overall and 5-7 in the Big 12. Texas A&M improved to 19-7 and 7-5 in the league. Iowa State will return home to play host to No. 9 Baylor at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hilton Coliseum. The time printed on the tickets is incorrect. The game was changed early in the season due to television. The game will be televised live by Fox Sports Net.
