AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team earned its first victory of the season, beating in-state rival Iowa, 195.125-193.800, in Hilton Coliseum Friday night. ISU’s score was their best output of the season, beating the previous best of 194.550 set on Feb. 10, against Stanford.
“The only way we were going to win was to attack during every event,” ISU head coach Jay Ronayne said. “We were being aggressive all night and not holding back.” Full Story |

Does this count towards Cy-Hawk? I know we've slobber knocked them in the count this year, but total domination is good.

Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
