AMES, Iowa – Iowa State’s upset bid came up short as the Cyclones allowed the ninth-ranked Baylor Lady Bears to go on a 9-2 run at end of the game to defeat
ISU, 59-54, Saturday at Hilton Coliseum.
Iowa State led, 50-44, with just over six minutes left in the game, but three different Baylor players scored in a 6-0 run by the Lady Bears to tie the game at 50-all with 3:44 to go.
