ISU Plays Host To No. 6 Kansas

-Iowa State (14-13, 4-8) returns home to face No. 6 Kansas (24-3, 9-3) in Hilton Coliseum...Kansas is the fourth ranked team ISU has faced this season, losing its previous three against ranked opponents (Kansas, Texas A&M, Texas).
-ISU has lost nine games in a row to ranked opponents and head coach Greg McDermott is 0-8 against rated foes as the Cyclone mentor.
-KU has won five games in a row vs. ISU and won the last three games played in Hilton Coliseum...ISU’s last win over Kansas in Hilton was a 68-61 victory on Jan. 31, 2004.
-ISU is 12-4 at home this season and 1-8 on the road.
-The Cyclones fell at Texas Tech, 76-64 on Saturday to drop their Big 12 Conference road mark to 0-6...ISU is now 1-8 on the season when its opponent scores 70 points or more...ISU is 9-0 when scoring 70 points or more.
-ISU ranks 20th nationally in least amount of fouls per game (15.9 fpg).
