Tomorrow will be a very sad day for me, Rahshon, and our families. I have been to every home game for the last four years, sitting in the same seat watching what I've come to know as Hilton Magic. I have met so many great people through ISU basketball and have had so many good memories. The win at KU, the win against Virginia, the win in the NCAA tournament...I will never forget any of these. But something else I, and Rahshon, will never forget are the fans. You guys have made these four years wonderful for us. The last few years have been pretty hard on Rahshon, but he always knew he could count on you guys to bring him back up. I have never seen fans at any school treat a player the way you have Rahshon. I've been reading the posts regarding senior night, and I can't help but cry at almost every one of them. It is so obvious how much you all really do care about Rahshon and appreciate what he has done for this program. I made sure that him and his mother got to read some of those posts, and on behalf of all of us; thank you. Just as he stuck with ISU through the hard times, you all stuck with him through his. Thank you for being the best fans anyone could ask for!!! I am really going to miss hearing his name called during the starting lineup, the band playing the fight song, but most of all I will miss you, the loyal fans. We appreciate you just as much as you appreciate him. Thank you for four amazing years!
P.S. I just want to put a disclaimer out that I will be trying my hardest not to be absolutely bawling tomorrow when we walk Rahshon out. But considering I'm already crying, I'm guessing I won't be very successful!

I'll probably be bawling too.

'But I love the idea of the Sacrificial Lamb. . . There are consequences to actions. The point of the death of Christ is that Christ took on the sins of the world, so that what we put out did not come back to us, and that our sinful nature does not reap the obvious death. That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'

Thank you for the time. And remember Rahshon and you are always cyclones for life. Keep up after graduation here rejoicing in future cyclone players and games and reliving the great memories you've gained. Life moves one but you will always have days like those you mentioned and this upcoming Saturday. Now lets go get a few more great memories before the years over!

Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'

Rahshon will always be one of my favorite Cyclones of all time. He has always displayed class on and off the court. Not many athletes show loyalty to schools anymore and Rahshon did that. For that, I will always be grateful. It has been a pleasure to watch him play the last four years. I really hope that Rahshon can be involved with Iowa State in the future. I think he would make a tremendous assistant coach. Thank you Rahshon for your high-flying dunks, your lock down defense, skying through the air for all of those rebounds. Thank you for your contagious smile, your energy on the court and your loyalty. We the Cyclone fans will miss you!

Many thanks to you, Rahshon and his family. All of you will be missed.

The fans appreciate the thank you but everyone on this board knows that it is the fans that owe you and Rahshon a thank you and that is what tomorrow is all about. Enjoy every second of it.

| Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." |

Best of luck to you and Rashon. What is he going to do with his degree?

One of my all time favorite Cyclones...that's about as huge a compliment as I can give someone. An amazing athlete and a class (and loyal) man. He will be missed sorely.
