I like syr. jerseys so if ours turn out like theirs then i will be very happy. Except with our colors though.

Cardinal, gold or white jerseys are fine; NO grey, black or any other color. People complained about a blue accent, but you want a grey main color? I have no problem with the baggy shorts though.

The OSU greys make me want to puke.

I like the gold option especially. Its not mustard yellow.

I completely agree. I for one actually kind of liked the blue, but understand people's complaints against it. Now these same people who were so desperate to see blue gone as an accent desperately want grey uniforms? WTF?

I could understand if this were baseball as grey is a traditional road uniform. But basketball? As far as I'm concerned the only school that really should be wearing grey is Georgetown.

Maybe it's because I'm younger, but I like the new look a hell of a lot more than the current. I've never understood why people held on to the way things used to look just for the sake of familiarity. Also, the shorts don't look any baggier than the current ones. I would assume they don't care to make the shorts as tight as the jersey's because there is a lot more jersey grabbing than shorts grabbing. I also see nothing wrong with the long sleeves - without them the new and old style look relatively the same, so I'd say go for it.

Lastly, I think the cardinal is much too deep. It looks like ASU's. I'm guessing this is because we're looking at it on a white background, but I still prefer brighter colors.

I compared my renderings to the football jersey and helmet shown on cyclones.com in an earlier post - it's the exact same cardinal.

I really really really want to get rid of the bright colors. I never want to go back to Mcdonalds and ketchup. So I love the deeper cardinal.

Well, I guess now that football season has started and the fashion police are done battling out the details of how we look on the gridiron, we might as well start the pre-season discussions on the bball unis. What does everyone think, white shoes or black shoes?

Sometimes I can't tell if this is a ISU sports forum or a Glamour message board.
