In my humble opinion, they look a bit bland. The tops look like something you'd see at a Y League and the shorts are quite plain. It will be interesting to see just how tight the tops really are. The tight top and baggy shorts seems like an odd combination...

I forgot to mention - the players really liked this style over the alternatives, and as long as they're happy, I'm happy |
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

Umm...have you guys seen our players? There is no way those tops will fit tight on them. It might be kind of embarrassing.

When my HS got new jerseys it was amazing how difficult it was to get the jersey to fit over the pads, and then try to put it on. Although football does I suppose have tights
EDIT: I would also like to add thought that this type of jersey is by far the most popular with recruits now adays. Same thing with the Oregon football uniforms, all I've heard from people on this board is that they hate them, but every HS football player I know thinks they are sick. Mostly has to do with them not growing up with the old style jersies I suppose.

It sounds like our jerseys were pretty crappy last year, quality wise. Especially the warm ups. I wouldn't be surprised to see this style of jersey be very common in the future.

Far too much is made up of the unis. Just pick something that falls in line with our new look and be done with it.
We could wear pink for all I care, as long as we're winning. So next year...we better not wear pink. | |

The teams that wear them now seem to have some guys with baggier tops and some guys with very tight tops...

Poor quality (compared to other high major schools), cheesy, off-the-rack design that many high school teams had....I could keep going.
The new design (hopefully) will be of higher quality. The tighter fit is becoming more popular as more and more teams have adopted it. K-State, USC, West Virginia, and Oregon even adopted the look mid-season. Texas, Oklahoma, Uconn, and Arizona have the look too. And FWIW, no one wears the tight shirts underneathe.

I for one like the new designs and I think it shows that we are moving forward with the rest of the basketball world. If the players like them and feel comfortable playing in them, that is what is most important.
Will there also be a gold variant, in addition to the white homes and cardinal aways?

Do the players get involved at all in the decision making process? Or how does it work? I would hope they would get the players input.

The "model" pictures of these unifroms are always WAYYYYY tighter than the game time jerzey's IMO. Even the picture above of the Syracuse player posted by Bryce shows that they aren't skin tight.
I like em.

The new warm ups cant get any worse, they were awful last year. Love the new jerseys, wish we could get "Cyclones" across the front instead of Iowa State on the home jerseys like Syracuse's "Orange", but I guess it will help people not confuse us (I-State) with Indiana, Idaho, or Illinois State. |

I agree, home uniforms should always say Cyclones and Iowa State on the road...

*Nickname on home uni
*City/Team name on road uni
*Toss-up on alt uni (I'd love to see just "State" on something)
