I think the first pic is a little deceiving. The new style some teams are sporting is a snugger top but not that tight. It still fits with extra space between the skin and material. I'm assuming that's what was meant about what we're getting.
Don't know if I'm a big fan of the multi colored blocks on the shorts someone mocked up. Just go with a simple look.

Um, ick. I will wait to see for sure but hate it would be a good start. The colors are good. What the hell is up with a nipple hugging shirt and shorts that would accomodate 3 guys?

The shorts look like a Scottish Kilt. I know the 80's shorts were too short, but now it appears we've gone to the other extreme. However I agree with who ever said that it's more important for the players to like them than the fans.

Same concept as road baseball uniforms, IMO.
By the way, I hope the put the punching Cy on the collar rather than I-State. What do you need I-State on there for if the jersey already says IOWA STATE about three inches away?

When are these supposedly supposed to be ready? This coming season or when?
Oh and I don't think anyone mentioned this yet...Marquette uses the same type of uniforms. I love how they look.
Here's a pretty bad pic of their gold jerseys: http://images.usatoday.com/Wires2Web...asketballx.jpg
I can't find a good image of their light blue or white uniforms though.

This day isn't going well for me. Firstly guys driving around babbling on cell phones like some pre-teen girl at a sleep over while holding up traffic by not making a timely left turn. I had to wait for the next light because of gabby.
Now guys oohing and aahing over clothing. CLOTHING!!!!! For crying out loud. What kind of guy raves or disses clothing? I won't answer that.
Nearby threads talk about washing coffee cups. What? I admit to using a napkin to rub out the coffee stains once and a while but wash it with soap? The mug is for coffee, not dish water.
A few weeks ago it was pizza recipes. I don't mind grilling recipes but when we start talking cakes and cookies, I'll going home.
