AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team travels to Oklahoma State for a Big 12 Showdown this weekend. The Cyclones and Cowgirls will meet at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

- ISU (24-18, 1-5 Big 12) takes to the road for a Big 12 series at Oklahoma State (20-18, 3-3 Big 12) this weekend. The Cyclones are looking to snap a four-game conference losing streak.
- The Cyclones snapped a season-long seven-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over Drake in the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.
- The five runs was the most the Cyclones had scored since March 26 against Northern Iowa.
- Against the Bulldogs, Amanda Bradberry finished with two hits, two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Cyclones. Kelsey Kidwell, Jacquelyn Beatty, Carrie Monroe and Courtney Wray also had two hits each in the doubleheader.
- Charissa Carlin tossed a complete-game five hitter to pick up her first win in eight appearances. Carlin struck out five while walking none.
- Beatty broke out of her slump in a big way, ripping a double and adding another hit in the second game against Drake. Prior to the double Beatty had been 0-for-15 with her last hit being a homer against Northern Iowa.
