I'm 100% confident that the three players have verbally agreed to come to ISU. The only step left is the paperwork and if there are any schools that for some reason pry them away before the i's and t's are all finished.

Just make sure to remember these are Spring guys. They usually fell thru the cracks for a reason.

I've been one of those guys that's been critical of the recruiting, and signing three guys in the spring isn't going to make me wet my pants with excitement... but I said I would be happy with Pomlee and Christopherson earlier and entering into full rebuilding mode. Hopefully No - No - No - Notorious can provide us with enough of an inside presence that we can redshirt either Pomlee or Hamilton.

I still think we are an NIT team at best this year but I like the way the team is being constructed at this point and I think that it could be said that McD is getting his own guys in there. As a fan I like the potential of the frontcourt and backcourt. I'll probably talk myself into 20 wins by the time August rolls around.

Impressed that McD beat out UConn for somebody even if it is a late signee.

Really nice to get some great news on the MBB front. Keep up the good work staff and players. We're all proud of the effort you gave even though the results weren't what anybody wanted last year.

so thats Clinton Mann,wes eikmeir,justin Hamilton,dominique Buckley,LA pomlee,jaimee vanderbeiken,scott christopherson. Looks like a descent class, mcdermott should be able to use this class. I can't wait for Buckley, and christpherson is gonna be real good

Jeremy, i am concerned. I am a premie at CR as well as a loyal poster here. I have been reading over there that Chrisopherson wanted this kept quiet until tomorrow morning at the earliest (comes straight from Paul). I don't want to tell you what to do, or i won't question tactics - i just hope we aren't going against confidence to 'scoop the news'.

All of this is good news, but a burnt bridge can change peoples' minds on occassion.

All guys over 6'7 for us that could play the 4. This is great stuff.

My god, let it go. Jeremy has already said he feels confident they will sign tomorrow. He has been doing this a long time, I think he knows what he is doing.

So if we bring in 7 in this class, how many people will leave from it? (somebody had to say it)

Look at the 2006 class, McDermott brings in five players, only 1 has stayed (Wes J)

Last years class; Brought in six players, only 4 remain.

Cats out of the bag now. Regardless I don't think the staff could have done any better than this for a spring class. I hope Scott doesn't take it personally - he's part of a lot of excitement that is generated over this group of future Cyclones. I'm very happy to have him on board.
