dude, don't jump down my throat for bringing up a concern. if a kid gives news with a condition that it be kept quiet for a bit, there is usually a good reason. if this is the case, i don't care how long someone has been doing something, they should abide by the wishes of the person they are reporting on. I don't want to be Buzz Killington, but Dodie and Mike T were available in the spring for well known reasons, and they were both one and done for those reasons.

Like i said, the cat is out of the bag. Let's let this thread be about happy times. I don't think there is a single Cyclone fan alive that didn't feel like this season really ended on a down note. I've been one of the bigger whiners on this board. But the staff has done a great job getting the best players available this spring and that should be celebrated. They did a great job.

A possibility, but also may actually have been the wishes of the recruit for reasons unknown. But, whatever, i hope it all works out. if not, we are cyclone fans afterall....

I believe Jeremy is offline. CF normally does not post recruiting news for a multitude of reasons. I can be fairly certain that Jeremy wouldn't post this without good reason - he kept the JJ Bass thing quiet for many reasons, and he would honor a similar request on this.

It's all good. WOI just reported that Vanderbeken, Pomlee, AND Christopherson are coming to ISU.

If Christopherson decides to go elsewhere we can now blame John Walters.

Hasnt McD been looking at Vanderbeken for sometime now? I think he knows what this kid is all about. McD's first class was filled with warm bodies, he needed players and those players were out there. This time around he had a list of what he needed, picked kids that would fit is system and kids that do well off the court. The staff did their homework on these kids.

Pomlee has been on ISU's list for a couple years, the staff knows what he is about.

Christopherson is a transfer so its no suprise he is still out there.

The staff has to watch what kind of kids they bring in due to the APR. They are walking a fine line with that and need good kids to get above than line.
