I have confirmed directly that James Vanderbeken will indeed be a Cyclone. James committed to the ISU coaching staff today and will be signing with the Clones during the Spring signing period.
From sources it looks like the three signees will be Pomlee, Vanderbeken and Christopherson. All have committed and as long as we can get them to finalize the signatures, we should be set for an outstanding spring signing class.
My Quick Overview...
Pomlee can be a key player down the road if he can get some muscle and work hard on what he's told to do. He has tons of upside and if he can redshirt next year, it would really help his growth.
Christopherson is a pure steal. He is a sharp shooter and can really grow in Mac's system. With a year of practice and growth, he has a lot of potential to be in competition for quality minutes down the road.
Vanderbeken is probably as good of player as there is right now on the recruiting trails. UConn was going hard and he has a lot of interest late. If he can come in and play right away at the level we need, next year can finally be a growth year instead of just another stabilizing year. VDB really gives our other players the chance to play their true positions and should help us imensly.

Great to hear. Not sure why we would go after Christorpherson right now. He must be really good b/c we have some depth at his position

Christopherson is the transfer from Marquette that was discussed a few days ago. I assume he will have to sit out a year.

I just closed the other thread to keep everything condensed to make it easier for people to follow the rumors, news and discussion.
Christopherson really is a steal. He was a very good recruit when he went to Marquette and didn't play much due to an injury. Once he gets to gel with the team, I think he'll be a very quality player in our rotation.
