WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Senior Chris Baker registered his ninth top-10 finish of the season en route to the Cyclones’ ninth place finish at the Purdue Boilermaker Invitational Sunday afternoon in West Lafayette, Ind.
Iowa State shot its best round in the tournament today, firing a 6-under par 282 to finish with a 54-hole total of 862 (294-286-282). Sophomore Ben Herrera recorded the lowest round and lowest 54-hole scores of his career, shooting a 68 in the final round to give him a 215 total (74-73-68). Cedric Bertin chipped in a quality performance, ending the tournament in the top 20 individually. Seniors Johnny Larson and Joe Cermak competed for the Cyclones as well.
