Cyclone Notebook
- ISU (26-25, 3-12 Big 12) continues its road action with a game against Big 12 foe Nebraska (19-25, 1-12 Big 12) Tuesday before heading to South Dakota State (19-25) for a Wednesday doubleheader.
- The Cyclones dropped a pair of games to Texas Tech last weekend, including a 4-3 heartbreaker in 10 innings in Sunday’s finale.
- Against the Red Raiders, ISU held a 1-0 edge in the finale before Whitney Riley homered with two-outs to send it into extra innings. The Cyclones were out hit 20 to 11 in the series.
- The Cyclones have homered a school-record 31 time this season, surpassing the previous record of 27 in 2002.
- Courtney Wray reached 100 hits with a single on Saturday against the Red Raiders. The sophomore has 101 after homering on Sunday. Alex Johnson is three hits shy of the mark and Kristy Olsen is six hits short.
- Wray has 53 hits this season, which ties for the seventh-best single season in school history. Her 30 runs scored ranks as the sixth most in ISU’s single-season record books.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
