When you look at Hawaii's Stadium doesn't it look like a big time stadium?
Its hard to beleive this stadium only holds 50,000.

Am I the only one who loves seeing the words "Iowa State University" lit up at night on the east side of the stadium? Hopefully they do the same for the phrase "Jack Trice Stadium", but I'd still like to see the ISU phrase somewhere, perhaps on the south end so it's the first thing you see when you come into town on University.

You my friend are certainly not alone. That was one of the last things I saw when I left town for good.
It was one of the first things I saw when returning from away football games (Always got back at night), and it didn't matter if I was coming from Texas or Ohio, I was always glad to see that sign lit up

I mis-read your origional statement and later realized you ment the concourse, not the seating area, but I didn't feel it was worth recanting unless you brought it up again.
My bad. (atleast I'm assuming you mean out of the seats, I can't see the picture )

I know the plans will most likely change quite, but I'd vote to leave "Iowa State University" on the east side of the stadium placing the I-State logo on each side of it. I would also leave "Home of the Cyclones" over the east and west gates, but I would put "Jack Trice Stadium" over the gate on the southside of the stadium or on the upper deck (should they construct it). I think it would be more visable to any team/vistor when they head north on University Blvd. I would also light it the same way as "Iowa State University" on the east side.

My bad. (atleast I'm assuming you mean out of the seats, I can't see the picture ) Yep, I meant the concourse. If the concourse goes all the way around, why install a ridiculous-looking catwalk?

Has anyone noticed (I only did when I looked at an enlarged picture) that the lower deck of the south endzone seems to be higher (like a step up, but instead of a step a couple of feet of concrete) than the lower deck of the east and west side. It's not a gradual incline either, it's a direct vertical step up. I hope that's just a mistake in the drawing or something because that's weird.
