Did you notice Syracuse had 22 home games?

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

And in actual vs. paid attendance, they'd kick our butts every day of the week. That isn't too funny.

Save us tonight, the last hope for all of us,
Light-years gone by, we're still holding on,
Save us tonight, a star shines in all of us,
Far beyond our lives, still our glory lives on.

ISU fans have been doing a great job of showing up, during some hard times.
Actually, all of these numbers reported today are "paid attendance" as opposed to "actual attendance". At some point the NCAA mandated using paid attendance as the standard.

I would suspect that ISU would be pretty high on this list since I believe we have in excess of 10,000 season tickets sold for BB. It's kind of like LSU in baseball...they have about 7,500 season tickets sold for baseball. This year their actual attendance average has been around 3,500. When the year end stats on attendance come out it will say LSU...7,500.

The few games I got to see on TV this year did show a lot of empty seats in Hilton. Back in the mid 80s there were seldom empty seats...even for pre-conference games. I want us to have all the seats actually filled for the games...not just sold (even though that is a good thing to have them sold).

It would be interesting to see this list for actual attendance...my sense is that UK and UNC would still be at the top...they show up no matter who their team is playing...BB is religion at these schools. The only reason that Duke doesn't build (and fill) a 20,000 seat arena is that they will do nothing that makes them look like they would be copying UNC.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

I'm with you. It's awesome to have the money; it would be better to have the people (and their money).

Almost all other teams report paid attendance as well. So its not like we are reporting false info. I agree it would be nice for actual attendance to equal paid attendance but that is nearly impossible. It will get better with winning, but for a bad team this year, the fans did their part by purchasing tickets and being a good crowd for a not so good team.
