Even these past two years, I haven't seen Greg's style as slow as Floyd's was. We ran when we could. This past year it was hard to run when Wes was hurt, Jiri was hurt, and Rahshon was hurt. Of course, Wes couldn't apply that logic to his decision. I see your point, but all of these games did end in losses as you pointed out. Maybe it's not just the style of play but the style of play combined with the losing.

Where to be on the floor and when to be there...retention problems without naming names...but for the most part that problem is not a huge issue anymore.

And that is why I kept hoping that our luck would change at some point last year and we would finally pull out one of those games that we came so close in. A few more wins and everyone (players and coaches and fans) would have been much happier. And we were close in the Texas game, the Kansas State game, the Kansas game, etc. Who knows, if we win a few more games maybe a Wes Johnson is suddenly not so unhappy at Iowa State and doesn't decide to screw us over. Although for that to be true, we would have to believe Wes's side of the story.
Well, one can rest easy that we would not have lost the Texas game had we not been screwed by the refs. I have never, ever been more angry than I was when I left that game. It took me all night and 3/4ths of a bottle of wine to begin to calm down. And obviously I am not that calm yet about it | | |

It took me all night and 3/4ths of a bottle of wine to begin to calm down. And obviously I am not that calm yet about it I think what we are learning here is that I am clearly not over two things:
1. The Texas game last year
2. Wes Johnson transfer
I cannot seem to mention the Texas game without qualifying it that we got screwed by the refs. And I can't mention Wes without some reference to the whole thing being a dirty deal. THANK GOD I am such an expert on everything!
