As for the BTN, I'm not holding out much faith for Comcast to pick that up here.... I wish it was on Versus, I get that in HD right now.
I hate to be a downer but I do recall Iowa State playing their lsat couple home games early.

IMO a night game would be advantage: ISU. The Hawks haven't done well at night lately.

Yes, I'm an ISU Alum and Hawkeye fan...get over it.

6:00 at night games and 2:30 games are the best.

I like early games, they leave time for an afternoon nap before getting drunk again Saturday night.

This will be a great thing if the game is in HD.

Why any sportsfan has Mediacom is beyond me.

We have had a couple at 11:30 am in order to fit the early FSN time slot, but generally our earliest games don't start until 1 pm because they are not televised.

Because Iowa State doesn't give me any other options.

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I have DTV, so I'll be watching. I wouldn't pay anything for that network, but since it's free, I'll watch. Just find it extremely arrogant that the BTN is requiring basic cable from Mediacom. That channel should be on a sports tier.

Once Mediacom settles, we'll see what happens when the BXII decides to start their network. I imagine the hok fans with Mediacom are going to be screaming.

Do or do not, there is no try .....Yoda

Well, sounds like I'll have to step up my efforts to cause a ruckus on site, as the Big Ten has once again flaunted its general retardedness.

And no amount of redesign will help it, because those colors are difficult to work with together in a visual setting.

Not to get off track, but I noticed the same thing about the NFL network, last night. I was watching a replay of the Steelers v. Colts playoff game from a couple of years ago. (The game saving tackle of Nick Harper by Big Ben)

Anyway, they took commercial breaks every 10 minutes or so, and went the entire game without showing an ad for anything besides the NFL network, or a PSA for the United Way. I realized that in that hour the NFL had made exactly 0 dollars. There was no profit. I know the NFL has deep pockets, but is this sustainable? The Big Ten Network is in a lot of trouble, if the NFL can't sell ad time for it's network.

They opened at 2 I believe because the line was a traffic issue.
