Once Mediacom settles, we'll see what happens when the BXII decides to start their network. I imagine the hok fans with Mediacom are going to be screaming. Lord, I hope Mediacam doesn't cave. But if they do, you're right - the Big XII is next!

As for the BTN, I'm not holding out much faith for Comcast to pick that up here.... I wish it was on Versus, I get that in HD right now.
Actually I wouldn't mind all our games being at 11 am if it meant they were on tv like Iowa. To me it is better to play at 11 and get the exposure of tv and doing less tailgating then playing at 1 with no tv.

I haven't seen any type of revenue breakout for the BTN but their trouble raising ad revenue last year was pretty well known if I remember right. I don't know if they're trying to charge too much or what but you would think the specific target market of the audience would be pretty good for sponsors. It was always funny seeing 3 or 4 ads in a row for the BTN on the BTN, usually with nothing but 1 PSA mixed in. Some times they had the same ads play more than once in a single commercial break.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

If a game is on at 11:00 AM and nobody is watching, is that really exposure?
Who's watching at 11:00 AM???

Getting a deal done with Comast will greatly help BTN's ad revenue. I can almost guess what Marty & Miller will be talking about at 4. Think i'll see what Keitzman on WHB or Perrault on B.S. 590 is talking about on the drive home.

Who's watching at 11:00 AM??? If I'm not attending a game that day, I will watch football all day long, no matter what time it starts. I typically flip through all the 11:00 am games each Saturday, even though they are usually all Big Ten, ACC, or Big East games. It's still football, dammit.

Glad to hear this will be an early game. I will be able to listen to it while working on the racecars and it will be over before the races start |

Who's watching at 11:00 AM??? I understand what you are saying, but the option is there to watch, a 1pm with no tv game guarantee’s 100% of people wouldn't be watching.

i will be in Iowa City for the game. Going out Friday night until 2 or 3 and then getting up at 6 to start all over again. should be fun. it is always fun to walk through the "Iowa" lot by the golf course after we win. 2 years ago i was hesitant to walk through there after the game but i got a lot of "you guys should have won, good game" that was very unusual.

The 11am start time means Sound-Off will last even longer. Can you imagine the melt-down if we win????
