Just as an FYI, the Big 12 tv package wouldn't apply for this game as it's in a Big 10 venue.

It's actually a fairly normal start time for ISU-Iowa in Iowa City. 5 of the last 6. Since the renewal, only 3 of 18 games in IC have started AFTER 1:30.

I know that. It was a response to the posts about what time the ISU home conference games were in 2007.

Not thrilled with the game time...but I'll admit, I'm not disappointed the game is on the BTN. Almost certain it will be in HD.

I'm okay with the game time since a friend (and ISU grad) decided to get married that day (what the hell was she thinking????). Hopefully, the ceremony will be after the game.

I also think that Mediacom will suddenly cave to whatever the Big 11 network wants in order to please their customers. The game only on Big 11 network will create another mass exodus from Mediacom.

As I understand it, the football and basketball games are not produced by the BTN, but are done by Fox Sports under contract with the BTN. So they should be similar quality to Fox, ESPN, ABC, or any other major sports network.

Guess I'll be going to a sports bar to watch this one. I just hope they have it. No one down here really gives a crap about the little11. I kinda like that though.
