What are the benefits of Brewster again? Does he have Iowa ties, run a spread offense, college experience? Anyone?

Go to the Texas.rivals board. There is a thread there about Chezik and you will see was TU fans say about Brewster.

Why is everyone so excited about Harbaugh? I understand he ahs a decent name from his playing days and has done alright in a level slightly higher than Highschool or JC, but that does not mean he is ready for DI at the top level.
I like Chizek and heard a couple of weeks ago about a coordinator from UT so he fits that bill. I also like the idea of Pellini. His recruiting connections would be awsome.

I think Brewster is #1. If you Google Brewster there is a story from the Illinois Scout website from 2004 making a case for Illinois to hire Brewster. The more I research Brewster the more I'm liking him.

Interesting...if posters think he is a great recruiter, then the football world must think highly of him. We all know getting athletes into Ames is tough..maybe this is our guy.

Harbaugh has to be on that list somewhere...
Pollard was at the Drake football game in Des Moines when San Diego came to town Oct. 21 & beat Drake 37-0.
We'll see what happens soon enough.

You can't "talk" to head coaches during the season though can you? If so, then it couldn't be Harbaugh.
