Brewster???? He's a Tight ends coach with college coaching at NC & Texas with Brown. However, no head coaching or coordinator experience....interesting.

Only certain people can create polls...can someone who can please create one so we can vote on who we either want to see be the next HC at ISU or who we feel will be the next HC?

I believe that Mac will be the leading candidate for the Stanford job, despite what other rumors are saying. He has some obvious connections there and he has possibly already been felt up for his thoughts on the move.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Sounds like sexual harrassment to me..

Today, still wanted by BCS teams, he survives as a coach of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find him- maybe you can hire: Gene Chizik.

Jeremy, you're killing me. Although I know it is best not to reveal too much the suspense is killing me.

Does anyone think that it is too soon to name a new coach especially considering there are still 9 days left of Mac as coach? Just seems like it would be disrespectful to Mac if we named a new coach before Mac got out the door.

If he is moving quick..the coach will be a hot commodity. Looney is NOT a hot commodity, but is an excellent coach. I think Pollard would get real excited about Harbaugh, IF he can entice him. At 41, he has the whole world ahead of him. ISU would be a super place for him to go, not a lot of pressure like other school to win right now. We've learned to be patient.

Good for Mac, I hope he gets that Stanford job. New stadium, good facilities, top-notch athletic department altogether, and he is good at reviving a terrible programs. Plus, it'd be interesting to see him coach in the Pac-10.

I gotta totally disagree with that. There will be immense pressure to come in here and produce. We can't afford a 4 yr bowl drought.

The 50% of fans po'd JP fired Mac will be livid if we take too long to rebuild. Probably a good chunk of the Fire Mac supporters will demand blood just because it's their nature demand immediate and sustained success. (not a put down just reality I think)

Mac and Stanford looks like a good fit. I hope he gets consideration for the position.

As for Brewster, he has proven himself as a good position coach and his NFL connections should help with recruiting but I wish he had some Offensive Coordinator exp. and not just TE/ Special teams exp.
