AMES, Iowa - Armando Espinosa, starting his second season on Iowa State’s tennis coaching staff, has been designated associate head coach by Cyclone head coach Michelle Conlon. Espinosa came to Ames after previously serving as the assistant coach at Oregon during the 2005-06 season.
“We certainly wanted to reward Armando for everything that he has done for our program,” Conlon said. “He has really made a lot of outstanding contributions. Our incoming recruiting class will give our program a boost. A lot of that has to do with Armando.”
