Former Cyclone Football Player Cast on Big Brother

AMES, Iowa – Former Iowa State defensive back Bryan Ollie is still before the cameras, only now his exposure is night and day. The marketing and sales representative is part of the cast of Big Brother, a reality show that airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. CDT, Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. on CBS.

According to the CBS website, “Big Brother will follow a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One by one, the house guests will vote each other out of the house until at the end of three months, the last remaining house guest will win the grand prize.”

The 27-year old Ollie, who lists both Bloomington, Minn. and Des Moines as his hometowns, lettered at defensive back four times at Iowa State between 2000 and 2003. Ollie rushed for more than 1,000 yards in his senior season (1998) at West Des Moines-Dowling High School. As a defensive back at Iowa State he made 23 career tackles and was a valuable special teams competitor.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

I like that he is wearing his Iowa State gear almost all the time. Also have the guy (Jesse I think, the body builder) who wears the Iowa shirt. Could have a good Cy-Hawk rivalry on TV!

I caught the first episode but I don't usually watch Big Brother. I think Jesse wore his Wartburg shirt more than his Iowa from what I saw. The old guy cracks me up. When the girl with the big boobs was letting everyone feel that they were real even he took a feel.

Jessie is a total tool!!!! I lost count during the first episode of how many times he referenced his body. He even mentioned one time how he hoped it didn't intimidate people during the various challenges. I'm hoping gets voted off real soon.

Go Ollie and April (man she is smoking hot!!!!!!!!)

What is Jessie's favorite activity?

His favorite activity is communicating with people that contact him whose lives he has helped to change.
Maybe he doesn't realize they don't give Emmy's for the biggest d-bag in a reality show.

Jesse is an idiot on the show. Ollie was the smart guy that already out smarted the "player"
