Of course, once local sunset hits, its powered down, and I am not sure if Ames is in the pattern or not. But you should get it there.

I get it at least to Story City to the north, I get it sometimes to the Coral Ridge Mall exit to the east, and to Lamoni to the south. I don't get too far west of DSM all that much.

I have received calls from folks in Waterloo/Cedar Falls before as well.

But if you are not getting it in your car in Ames, that probably has more to do with your car.

thanks Jon. I should have mentioned I was referring to a 'walkman' type of receiver. While in the car... rarely does it move off of Sirius.
