Como tu Bo Pelini?

Him and Chizek now head my personal list, and until they say no, I'm hanging on to hope. :D

Bill Snyder's second coming?

Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans…I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care…I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it…let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

Aaaaand JP comes out of left field at 200 miles an hour, leaving everyone eight miles behind, dazed and blinking confusedly.

We totally fell for this one, guys. We should have known by know that this would happen. We've been more or less "sure" for over a week now that we would get one of two guys, so it stands to reason that Pollard probably isn't going to hire either of them, but we didn't realize that.

Man, he's good at this misdirection stuff. I would hate to play poker against him... Go, JP, go! Get us a coach!

Jeremy, I really hope you're not planning on shutting down the site *NOW*...

I think Kelly recently signed an extention. One would think he is out as well.

Re: ISU Inks Agreement With new Head Coach

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan coach Brian Kelly expects to receive a contract extension offer from the school this week.
A deal could be offered to him as early as today, Kelly said. And then it will be up to him and his agent to decide if it's worth signing.
In an interview with The Detroit News on Monday night, Kelly said he wants to stay with the Chippewas program but also wants to be well-compensated.
Kelly joked about the position he's in and said he's amused by how his stock has risen. In his business, a coach has to evaluate every offer he receives, Kelly said.
"I don't want to be evasive," Kelly, 44, said. "But I don't want to paint myself into a corner, either."
That said, Kelly reiterated he hasn't had any discussions with Michigan State officials about the team's coaching vacancy.

News from Monday...
