Re: ISU Inks Agreement With new Head Coach

This is an X & O's type of guy - if we'd of had that over the past 3 years we'd have been in the hunt for 3 straight BCS bids.
Please don't talk about the last 3 years of Cyclone football. They have all been dissapointing and heartbreaking. I'm starting to get a migrane already! I trust Pollard will hire the perfect guy. We have no reason to doubt him yet. Also he'll be able to sell that guy to the fans into believing he was the perfect hire and thus he will sell season tickets again. Pollard is quite the salesman. He could sell a pair of carharts to a penguin if he wanted to.

Good question! As far as Jeremy goes, I know he's not at home right now, so that's part of it. I think he mostly wanted to confirm with a few different sources before posting anything, just to sift through any conflicting information - since it was the holiday (and few people besides me are working today!), it has been harder to do that. I think he probably also wants to avoid getting railed by anyone for posting something that isn't 100% set in concrete.

Been away for a while, is Kragthorpe completely out of the picture now?

Hard to say. Everything seems to point towards Kelly. I think Kragthorpe would be a great hire.

Angie-
Thanks for the info. I think a lot of people have been going crazy not knowing where things stood.

Sorry you have to work today.
