Announcement: YOU ARE ON THE NEW SERVER
Most people will not be routed to the new server until sometime Thursday. Please excuse any errors during this process.
Here is a refresher on the process...
IMPORTANT: CycloneFanatic Holiday Downtime Planned
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, CycloneFanatic has outgrown it's current server and will need to be moved over to a brand new machine ASAP. I have completed almost all of the work but will need to move the database over, as well as make the routing changes so when you try to go to the web address CycloneFanatic.com, it actually takes you to the new server. Don't worry, there will be no noticeable changes besides speed, stability, etc.
- In laymen terms; When moving servers, the "host" computers around the internet have to register the change before users will be routed to the new server instead of the old one. Each host on the internet has it's own schedule on trying to detect these changes and typically it takes less than 8 hours BUT can last up to 24-48 hours if you happen to go through some obscure connections or routes along the way.
- IMPORTANT: Each of you will notice the new site at different times depending on the host computer(s) your connection routes through. You can type in the web address and you will notice it will ask you to login, although not necessarily. You may also notice that when trying to login or post for a few hours, it could alternate between the old and new servers sporadically and cause you grief. This problem will solve itself after your connection clears out again.
In summary:
Wed PM - Site shutdown
Thu AM - Some of you will have no problems
Thu PM - Most will have no problems
Fri AM - Hopefully nobody is having problems but foreigners might.

Mine works, but i dont get the red back ground/boxes. I just have the text and a white background. I figured it would just work itself out.

I fell asleep early last night, then woke up this AM to find the site down. It's been a long day of waiting, but worth it. Thanks for the extra effort in mking this a great site.

It's not fully propagated yet for you so it's trying to get the images from the old server still and not able to. You can try holding down the control or shift button when hitting refresh but most likely you'll just have to suffer without the beauty for a bit longer.
Thanks everybody for putting up with the move, it's been a pain to say the least.
