Rumor & Speculation - New Coach Signed?

The latest rumor going around is that ISU secured a signed contract with Brian Kelly today in Dallas, TX. This is a rumor and I have not been able to confirm. Take it for what it's worth right now and hopefully I'll have more later.

It's just a rumor that I'm hearing but I wanted to pass it on since I find it somewhat credible.

I, too, would give props to Pollard if we did indeed beat out Michigan State for a guy both schools were going for. It shows that JP really is a force to be reckoned with.

Any way the ISU plane could deviate to Columbia and empty the lavatories there? They deserve it a lot more than either of the states it's passing over now...

I was told we signed a Head Football Coach in Dallas today. This information was passed on to me from a kind little old lady that is an usher at the ISU Basketball Games. Not sure if they were told this as they will be required to work or what.

She did not know the name of the guy but said he was from Michigan.

I agree completely. What's needed right now is to have a quiet few months for the FB program to organize and get things in order before making a good PR splash next summer to get ticket sales up. Recruiting trails are going to have to be hit extremely hard and we need to make sure to get the verbals shored up and solidified so we don't lose any other players or recruits. I would expect we'll hit the JUCO ranks pretty hard as well to try and get some big bodies for the O line to help start things off.
