AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men’s basketball team is in the midst of its second week of NCAA permitted team workouts. The NCAA allows the Cyclones to workout as a team for two hours a week until basketball practice officially begins on Oct. 17.
For a team which consists of seven first-year players, it’s an important introductory course for what lies ahead.
“Our biggest concept is to learn that all of us need to be in this together as a team,”
ISU freshman Wes Eikmeier said. “We are really focusing on our communication with one another so we are all on the same page and working together as a unit.”
