Are they going to add suites to the east side also. I didnt see in the PR anything about that.

The original plans called for suites on either side of the club section. I don't know if they are still doing it, but 11.5 million is a lot to spend on just concession stands. Think about it. They spent 19 million last year for a new west concourse, added suites, renovated all the existing suites, renovated the club section on the east concourse, repainted all steal supports, replaced all the hand rails, and new signage. There is no way that the new concessions will cost them 11.5 million. I do think that they are replacing the fence this time though.

I think you're good to go...the Facilities Master Plan doesn't include suites on the east side it doesn't look like...

Yeah, I don't think suites are going on the east side - but I could be wrong.

I think one of the reasons for the large dollar amount - if you read the article - it states that side being used as the main entrance and for events. It'll be more than just concourse stuff.

I think that you'll be losing them eventually no matter what...it's just a matter of time. Of course, they could wait until the endzone is done. Then when they move the students there, a bunch of donor space will open up.

Hopefully we can hit up ONE more big Donor so the only real improvement that a lot of us care about actually gets done. The south endzone.

I can't believe Pollard is getting this done. Congrats to him and the athletic department.

Why can't we bestow an honorary degree to Bill Gates or Warren Buffett? Maybe the Alums who started Hooters can throw in free hotwings for life. I know it will seem pretty transparent, but a few million from those two would be like me sending in a check for a dollar.
