Been following ISU for the past 20 yrs and I find it much more enjoyable if I expect the worst and then am pleasantly surprised instead. Makes life MUCH less stressfull being a Cyclone football fan.

My support is there....my expectations just won't be through the roof (they wouldn't have been with anyone else either) because reality is reality.
I'm at every game...my money goes to support the Clones. I am not a fairweather fan, BUT until I see it consistantly on the field, I'm not going to scream how great we are all of a sudden.

Jeremy any word on salary? I know we heard a max of 1.75 milion, but i doubt he gets that... At least i hope not!

Kelly made 160K at CMU, how could we give this guy 1.7 mil? I am sure 500K would be realistic however he was under consideration at MSU. Will that up what we pay? Stay tuned.

I felt the same way when I first heard the Kelly news. After thinking about it more, I'm getting a little more excited. The guy sounds a lot like Tressel at OSU, and the recruiting concerns we all have sound a lot like GMac. I'm beginning to believe Pollard understands and has the same concerns, but gets the assurance that his hire will bring in assistants to eliminate the recruiting concerns.
If indeed it is Kelly, I'm excited to see the kind of staff he'll build for ISU.
